We were delighted to see the resurrection of the London Women’s Racing League for 2016. Women riders are quickly gaining on the men in numbers (just over a third of our customer base) but have remained under represented in racing. The LWR is working to change this through training days, and a series of unified women’s leagues.
As sponsors of one of the LWR’s key supporters, Matrix Pro Cycling, we were keen to get involved and help out where we could with sponsorship, discounts and prizes.
With many more leagues still to come through the summer and then into cross season, the results from the first Spring Series of racing are in. Congratulations to all of the winners, and in particular everyone who was trying out racing for the first time.
